KRISTOFFERSSON MOTORSPORT JOINS FIA RALLYCROSS WORLD CUP GRID

Kristoffersson Motorsport (KMS) has confirmed that reigning FIA European Rallycross Champion Johan Kristoffersson and Ole Christian Veiby will compete in the RX1 category at the first-ever FIA Rallycross World Cup, taking place in Jakarta, Indonesia on 5–6 December 2026.

As one of the most successful teams in modern rallycross, KMS arrives in Indonesia with an unrivalled pedigree, having claimed multiple FIA World Rallycross Championship titles. The Swedish squad will field its proven driver pairing of Kristoffersson and Veiby, fresh from a successful 2026 European campaign, as rallycross expands into Southeast Asia for the first time.

Kristoffersson needs little introduction to rallycross fans. The Swede has claimed a record eight FIA World Rallycross Championship titles and 48 World RX event victories, including his remarkable 2018 campaign, which saw him win 11 of the season's 12 events. Most recently, he added the 2026 FIA European Rallycross Championship RX1 title to his impressive collection of honours, further cementing his status as one of the sport's most decorated competitors.

Before establishing himself as the benchmark in rallycross, Kristoffersson enjoyed success across circuit racing, notably becoming a triple champion in 2012 after securing the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship, Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia and Superstars Series titles in the same season. He now heads to Indonesia looking to add another major international success to an already remarkable career.

Alongside him, Veiby has become one of the sport's leading talents since joining Kristoffersson Motorsport in 2022. The Norwegian has established himself as a consistent frontrunner, claiming multiple World RX victories and emerging as one of the European Championship's leading contenders in 2026, regularly challenging at the front alongside his teammate.

Since joining forces at Kristoffersson Motorsport, Kristoffersson and Veiby have established themselves as arguably the strongest driver pairing in international rallycross. Combining Kristoffersson's unrivalled record with Veiby's front-running pace and consistency, the duo have helped KMS secure multiple achievements while regularly locking out podiums and race victories. Their established partnership, built over several seasons at the front of the field, makes them one of the leading contenders for success when the FIA Rallycross World Cup heads to Jakarta.

The FIA Rallycross World Cup will take place on 5–6 December in Jakarta, Indonesia, with RX1 and RX5 competitors battling for international honours on the spectacular mixed-surface circuit featuring 60% asphalt and 40% gravel.
