ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport commits to FIA Rallycross World Cup

René Münnich and Mandie August – stalwarts of the international rallycross scene for almost two decades – have confirmed their participation in the landmark FIA Rallycross World Cup in Jakarta on 5-6 December with ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport.
The experienced duo are the latest competitors to sign up to the inaugural end-of-season event, following last week’s announcement that record-breaking nine-time FIA World Rally Champion Sébastien Loeb and two-time FIA World Rallycross Championship runner-up Kevin Hansen will join forces in Indonesia for SARGA Motorsport.
A team owner, entrepreneur and accomplished driver, Münnich started out in the dual-surface discipline in 2007, impressively finishing fourth on his debut. He has been a leading light in Euro RX ever since, with a trio of podiums highlighted by a breakthrough victory at Lohéac in France in 2021 – a result that made him the first German ever to win a round in the series’ top-tier. He notably topped the times in a Qualifying session at Nyirád in Hungary in 2023.
Four times a top six championship-finisher – including last season – the Saxony native simultaneously spent a decade on-and-off in World RX, advancing to the Final on multiple occasions behind the wheel of his SEAT Ibiza. Underscoring his versatile skillset, Münnich has also raced successfully in the FIA World Touring Car Championship and different TCR Series, while his team clinched the FIA GT1 World Championship crown in 2012.
August, meanwhile, is one of the most active female racers around. After proving her potential in the Rallycross Challenge Europe and German Rallycross Championship, she went on to establish herself at the European Championship’s highest level, improving from 12th in the standings in 2019 to 11th in 2020 and 10th in 2022.
The following year, the Görlitz-born driver achieved a career-best fourth position in Hell, Norway, missing out on the rostrum by barely two-thirds-of-a-second. She is additionally a points-scorer in World RX.
Both Münnich and August have been regular protagonists in Euro RX1 in 2026, claiming a double top 15 finish at Höljes in Sweden, where the former progressed to the Semi-Final stage.
The FIA Rallycross World Cup will be delivered by the FIA in partnership with 360° sports and entertainment company, SARGA.CO, and will see the sport expand into Southeast Asia for the first time.
